Shelly Womack made her way to Abilene in 2020 to study Journalism at Abilene Christian University.
While working as a Digital Media Producer with BigCountryHomepage.com, she also works with ACUTV and is a photojournalist for KACU.
In addition, Shelly also runs a freelancing photography business called ‘Womack Photography’ and expects to graduate from ACU in December 2023.
“My favorite part about working here is the connections I get to make with my co-workers and the community that we serve. I am very grateful to be a part of this team,” said Shelly.
When she is not at work or school, she can be found hanging out with friends and her cat Lillie. She has a passion for music, photography, animals and loves to take care of her family’s farm when she visits home in East Texas.
