Indicted: Accused Abilene strip club robber was ‘acting as vigilante to rid the area from narcotics’

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene man accused of robbing patrons at a strip club then telling police “he was acting as a vigilante to rid the area from narcotics” has been indicted.

Michael Hall, 25, was indicted for Aggravated Robbery, Robbery, and Possession of Methamphetamine in connection to the robbery, which happened at the Cloud 9 strip club on East Hwy 80 in May. 

Court documents state Hall was found to be in possession of the robbery victim’s wallet, cash, and other items, as well as a small amount of methamphetamine. 

Hall, “admitted to using his firearm to take the subjects money as he was acting as a vigilante to rid the area from narcotics,” according to the documents. 

He’s being held in jail on bonds totaling $40,000.
