Report: Female victim sexually assaulted before 'bad drug'-fueled kidnapping in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A female victim says she was sexually assaulted at an Abilene motel before a trio of suspects tied her and another victim up then kidnapped them for allegedly selling 'bad drugs'.

Joshua Davis, 29, Janna Calloway, 32, and Nathan Lowery, 24, were all arrested Wednesday for Aggravated Kidnapping. Calloway was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.

Arrest reports state the trio entered a room at a hotel on East Hwy 80, allegedly sexually assaulted a female, then tied the female and a male up with chains and tape then transported them to a secondary location on the 800 block of Maple Street.

The female was then taken to a home on the 800 block of Nelson Street, where she was threatened with knives and held against her will, according to the reports.

Police say the male victim was, for an undisclosed reason, left alone at the Maple Street house, so he managed to free himself and was found walking near S. 11th and Treadaway Blvd with a chian around his waist.

A concerned citizen called 9-1-1 around 5:30 a.m. The trio was then located at the Nelson Street home and arrested.

Both victims were arrested as well, for unrelated warrants.

Investigators believe this kidnapping took place because the victims allegedly sold the trio "$100 of 'bad' drugs," according to a press release.

All three suspect remains jailed on bonds totaling at least $30,000.
