(ABILENE, TX) – An Abilene ISD bus driver was assaulted Monday morning.
Police reports say the driver was transporting students back to the Abilene State Supported Living Center when one of the students refused to stay in his seat.
The driver pulled over when he wouldn’t sit down as requested, and after she stopped the bus, “the student began punching and kicking the bus driver,” according to the reports.
The driver did not have any visible injuries from the assault and was not transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Abilene Police Department is investigating this incident as an assault.
