ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Students across the Abilene Independent School District (AISD) chose to wear yellow in memory of the victims from this weekend’s deadly shooting in the Permian Basin.
According to AISD, a teacher in the district also coached one of the young ladies who was killed in the massacre.
The color yellow was chosen to symbolize hope.
