ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A registered sex offender who was given probation in Abilene after pleading guilty to a child sex crime violated that probation when he was charged with another sex crime.

Emmanuel Boima, II, 27, pleaded guilty to the probation violation during a ‘Motion to Revoke’ hearing on Thursday and was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison. He was originally given 8 years of deferred adjudication (probation) after pleading guilty to Sexual Assault of a Child in 2009.

Boima is now charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault for allegedly facilitating the gang rape of a woman he met on a dating site in November of 2016.

Court documents say a woman contacted police and told them she met Boima on a dating site then agreed to meet him at his home in Taylor County.

Once the victim arrived, Boima and another unidentified suspect grabbed her, forced her to undress, then raped her, according to the documents.

Boima has been indicted for this sexual assault, but his case has not yet proceeded to court.
