ID of Body Found by West Texas Pump Jack Released

REEVES COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The identity of a woman whose body was found near a pump jack in west Texas Saturday morning has been released.

The Reeves County Sheriff’s Office says the remains of Chasity Whittington Brashier, 29, were discovered around the intersection of Hwy 285 and FM 1450 south of Pecos.

Her cause of death has not been released, but the the Texas Rangers are investigating.
