ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene man has been indicted for a child sex crime after a teen turned him in for allegedly sexually abusing a 7-year-old.
Jose Ledesma, 51, was indicted Thursday for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child in connection to the incident, which was reported in October of 2018.
Court documents state the teen told detectives that while at Ledesma’s house, she witnessed him sexually assault a 7-year-old child, who was not a relative but was known to him.
The teen said Ledesma kept touching the child inappropriately while tickling her and when the child would move and tell him to stop, he would continue and say “he wanted some more,” according to the documents.
Ledesma was, according to the teen’s account, smoking weed later that night when he attempted to show her pictures of unclothed little girls on his phone.
The documents state he then told the teen all the inappropriate things he wanted to do to the 7-year-old and reiterated that he “wanted more” and also “said he liked younger girls.”
The 7-year-old was given a forensic interview, which indicated signs of assault.
“When [detectives] told Ledesma the charges against him, Ledesma became sick and ultimately vomited in a trashcan,” according to the documents.
Ledesma was previously indicted for Possession of Child Pornography for allegedly attempting to show the teen the child porn on his phone.
He remains held in the Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $175,000.
