CISCO, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A historic home was destroyed by a fire late Christmas eve in Cisco, according to fire officials.

No one was injured.

The fire happened at about 11:30 p.m., Monday in the 400 block of West 5th.

Officials said the fire was first reported as a car fire in a garage. When firefighters arrived, several cars and part of the house were on fire.

Crews worked for at least 20 minutes before they were pulled out by command and all occupants were accounted for. Officials said there were reports there were several gallons of gasoline being stored in the garage, which could have lef to a rapid spread of the fire.

Firefighters from Eastland, Carbon, Gorman and Rising Star assisted the Cisco Fire Department.

A dog was pulled out of the fire and appeared to be okay.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help the family affected by the fire. Click here to donate.
