This assignment gives me the unique opportunity to work on behalf of our retired educators, first responders and other public servants. Unfunded liabilities are a looming crisis for our state, and I am confident we will take a look at serious reform. Additionally, insurance is something that affects every Texan–from weather related incidences to healthcare to transportation, each Texans deals with the insurance industry. Having spent 34 years in banking, I look forward to using my expertise on these committees.”
