4 suspected dealers arrested during 2nd FBI meth bust in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – 4 suspected methamphetamine dealers were arrested in Taylor County during a joint investigation with the FBI and other federal agencies. 

The following individuals were taken into custody Thursday morning and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver:

  • Latheresa Dockens, 28
  • Latisha Vita, 27
  • Stacey Watkins, 45
  • Fredrick Johnson, 34

A press release from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office states the Taylor County Narcotics Unit began serving arrest and search warrants alongside the FBI, HIS, and ATF at 6:00 a.m. 

Several locations around town were involved in the investigation, and during the search warrant executions, a pound of meth was recovered, according to the release. 

These arrests follow an initial bust conducted alongside the FBI in August that led to the arrests of Jamall Dunson, Driessan Russel l, Joe Spafford, Trystan Napper, and Michael Huettel.

2 additional suspects, Dorian Powdrill and Sammy Spafford, were also arrested shortly after the August investigation.
