(KTAB/KRBC) - 9 suspects were arrested in Nolan and Mitchell counties during a state-wide operation to combat opioid trafficking.
Texas Department of Public Safety-led investigation that ended on January 22 resulted in the seizure of 37 units of hydrocodone, 40 units of oxycodone, more than 2 grams of methamphetamine and 6 grams of marijuana, according to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The press release states the 9 suspects, who have not been identified, are facing a total of 21 felony charges.
KTAB and KRBC are working to get more information on the suspects arrested.
The Texas Highway Patrol, the Nolan County Sheriff's Office, the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office, and the 32nd Judicial District Investigators all assisted DPS during the investigation.
