ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Middle school students from Abilene are in Washington D.C. this spring break and guess who they ran into on the Capital steps? Abilene mayor Anthony Williams.

He was there as Congressman Jody Arrington spoke to students from Craig Middle School in Abilene.

The Abilene students have been in Washington DC all week and have had a busy schedule trying to fit in all the sights and museums.

The kids in the Craig group even saw the President’s motorcade today as they were heading to the Capitol. The Washington trip is a trip that 8th grades have a chance to take every year.
