ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene woman was indicted Thursday for one count of robbery and another count of aggravated robbery Thursday, according to court documents.
Gloretha Allen, 31, was arrested on March 21, 2018 after DNA evidence tied her to a convenience store robbery that occurred in May of 2017.
Allen entered a 7-Eleven store, threatened the clerk with a knife, then escaped with $100 from the register and 9 packs of cigarettes.
When questioned about the robbery, documents state, “Allen admitted to being behind on her rent at the time of the robbery but denied committing the robbery.”
Allen was booked into the Taylor County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
