Arkansas Murder Suspect Could be in Texas

WARD, Arkansas (KARK) - A 36-year-old woman was found dead inside her home Thursday afternoon, and Arkansas State Police (ASP) is now searching for a male suspect wanted for Capital Murder in the crime.

The Ward Police Department said it received a call Thursday afternoon, March 23, in regards to a homicide at a house on Pinter Lane. When police arrived, they found Lori Hannah dead inside her house.

Special Agents with the ASP Criminal Investigation Division were asked to assist the Ward Police Department in the investigation.

ASP is now asking for the public’s help in finding Brian Keith Freeman, 41, who is wanted for Capital Murder. A warrant has been issued for Freeman's arrest.

Freeman is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. Freeman is known to have ties in Texas and Oklahoma. He has brown eyes and brown hair and should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you see him, police say do not approach him. Rather, contact the ASP immediately at (501) 618-8100.

Lori's body has been transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to confirm a manner and cause of death.
