Body of missing Abilene man found under bridge in Eastland County

EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Eastland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after the body of a missing Abilene man was found underneath a bridge along Interstate 20, according to Eastland County Sheriffs.

Around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) service worker found the body of Joseph Faricloth under a bridge between mile markers 341 and 342 of the highway.

Faircloth had been missing shortly after being involved in an auto accident on November 1, according to Eastland County Sheriffs. 

No foul play was suspected, Faircloth’s body was sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy report.
