BROWNWOOD, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Brownwood Jaycees are asking for donations to a GoFundMe page set up to raise money needed to repair damages made to the Central Texas Veterans Memorial.

On May 20, four stone memorials were found destroyed at the memorial site. The stones honored veterans of Brown County who fought in World War I, World War II, The Korean War and The Vietnam War.

The Brownwood Jaycees have created a GoFundMe page focused on raising $45,000 for repairs and labor, and are asking members of the community to donate to the cause.
