ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Dozens of hot rods young and old lined the streets of Downtown Abilene as part of ArtWalk’s CarWalk.

From old trucks to Camaros, car enthusiasts showed off their form of art.

Of course there were other art vendors, food trucks, and a lot of people as this is the biggest ArtWalk of the year.

“I met some new friends, saw some old friends. It’s a good time and a place to enjoy and just to enjoy what’s going on in abilene. I think it’s great,” said car owner Ian Sheppard.

Hosted by the Center for Contemporary Arts, ArtWalk is held on the second Thursday of each month.

May’s theme is yet to be revealed, but you can find the Center of Contemporary Arts on Facebook to keep up with events.
