BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWKT/KYLE) – The Bell County Organized Crime Unit has seized 3.3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and what was described as a large amount of cash and several weapons in a raid not far from Stillhouse Park.

Two people were arrested during the serving of an evidentiary search warrant in the 6000 block of Tallow Drive north of Stillhouse Hollow Lake.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is more than $75,000.

The Organized Crime Unit was joined by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Tactical Unit in conducting the raid.

The action wrapped up an investigation into the distribution of large quantities of crystal meth in the Bell County area.

Arrested were 40-year-old Thomas Joseph Dowling III and 33-year-old Monika Heidi Brackett, both of Belton.

They are being held by the U.S. Marshal’s service in Waco and will be facing federal drug charges.

Both were scheduled for their initial appearance before Federal Magistrate Jeffrey Manske in Federal Court in Waco Friday.
