ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The City of Abilene is looking to enter into an agreement to continue use of technology used in things like the See, Click, Fix app.

The app uses geographic information systems technology, and the agreement would cost $75,000 annually for three years.

In additon to the See, Click, Fix app, other services rely on the technology to get jobs done.

“It’s an important component to really all of the software tools we use. It integrates fully with our mygov process, which is for building inspections. We’re using it for public works processes too,” says Robert Hanna, Abilene City Manager.

The See, Click, Fix app is designed to help residents report potholes throughout the city.
