Dyess Air Force Base welcomes home airmen from deployment

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Dyess Air Force Base welcomed home three airman squadrons Thursday, as they returned home from deployment. 

Those returning home included airman from the 40th Airlift Squadron, 317th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 317th Operational Support Squadron.

The crews served a four month deployment in East Africa in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel and in Europe in support of Operation New Normal.

Airman were greeted by their families as they stepped off their plane and onto the tarmac.
