Early Police Department searching for burglary suspect

EARLY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Early Police Department (EPD) has asked for assistance in locating a man wanted for burglary of a habitation, according to EPD.

Justin Doyle Pierce, 28, was identified as the suspect of a house burglary in the 100 block of East River Oaks Road in Early in the afternoon of Sunday, August 19. The owner of the home called 911 after seeing Pierce exit the residence, according to EPD. 

It was later discovered by the homeowner that a handgun had been stolen from the house. Early police the obtained an arrest warrant for Pierce after he was identified in a follow-up investigation. 

Early police say that Pierce was last seen driving a gray Ford Taurus, however that vehicle was found abandoned during a chase with Sanger police on August 27.

Pierce is also wanted in other counties including Comanche, Lampasas, Johnson and the Texas Parole Board, according to EPD. He is considered armed and dangerous.
