ABILENE, Texas (KRBC) – Residents are encouraged to donate school supplies for children in need as KRBC News hosts its 2018 Tools For School drive.
The KRBC News team will be present at the Southside Wal Mart located on Southwest Drive on Wednesday, August 8 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. to receive donations of school supplies.
“We love being able to help out those in need during the Tools for School school supply drive,” said KRBC News Director Travis Ruiz. “It’s what makes the Big Country so special! We help each other when in need.”
All donations will be distributed to local non-profits, who will then provide those supplies to children in need to make them prepared for the new school year.
