EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Crews have responded to a large grass fire along Interstate 20 near Ranger Hill.
Crews from the Texas Forest Service, as well as Eastland and Olden fire departments have arrived at the scene.
The Eastland Fire Department tells Big Country Homepage they first responded to the fire around 5:30 Friday evening.
Additionally, witnesses reported to have seen planes working the fire.
Delays have occurred along the highway, as traffic is rerouted around the area.
The Texas Forest Service reported the fire to be approximately 100 acres large and 20 percent containment.
