Missing man found dead in Abilene, no foul play suspected

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A man reported missing nearly two months ago was found dead in Abilene Friday afternoon.

Abilene police confirm Michael Dalton, 40, was found deceased in a lot next to Salvation Army*** on the 1700 block of Butternut Street around 4:30 p.m.  

“This does not appear to be a foul play death,” Abilene police confirmed. No further information was disclosed. 

Dalton was last heard from on December 7, when he was supposed to get on a bus headed to Bowling Green, Kentucky, but never did. 

Police circulated Dalton’s picture on social media multiple times following his disappearance.
