Motorcyclists promote sharing the road in Abilene with Ride To Work Day

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Motorcyclists road through Abilene Monday to promote motorcycle safety through Abilene’s seventh annual Ride To Work Day.

Over 100 took part in a group ride from the Taylor County Expo Center to Kent’s Harley-Davidson in south Abilene in an effort to promote awareness from drivers about sharing the road with motorcycles.

The event also aimed to raise awareness about motorcycles being a more cost-effective way to commute around town.
