CLYDE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – One man was arrested Wednesday night after a multi-county chase from multiple law enforcement agencies, according to Callahan County officials.
Callahan County sheriffs received a call from Eastland County advising them of a pursuit that had originated in Parker County and was imminently entering Callahan. Three deputies responded to the county line to join the pursuit, according to officials.
Prior to entering Callahan County, the assailant had spike strips deployed on his vehicle three seperate times, and twice more after encountering State Troopers and Clyde police officers.
After the fifth spike strip, the vehicle came to rest along Interstate 20 while entering the Clyde city limits, according to officials. Extreme tire damage was visible on the vehicle.
The driver, Jesus Sanchez, was arrested and handed over to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, charges may be pending in Callahan County.
No mug shot for Sanchez was available as of Wednesday night.
