ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A New Mexico woman is trying to reunite a dog with an Abilene family more than a week after it went missing.
Jan Friesen told KTAB and KRBC she found the dog at Alamo Canyon on Westside Road in High Rolls, New Mexico on August 12.
Friesen says the dog, who went missing around August 4, “was left there by the owners who were unable to catch her to go home, so [they] left here there with some dog food.”
A member of Friesen’s community spoke to the owners, who said they were from Abilene.
Their identities are currently unknown.
Anyone who recognizes this dog is asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org to get Friesen’s contact information.
