PLANO, TX (NBC News) –– Pizza Hut is making a move toward serving all antibiotic-free chicken.

The pizza chain announced today that by 2022 it will no longer serve any chicken raised with antibiotics important to human medicine.

That includes all of its chicken items, including chicken wings at its Wingstreet locations.

The move comes a year after pizza hut transitioned to antibiotic-free chicken in its toppings.

They have also eliminated other artificial ingredients from some of its menu items in the past several years.

Pizza hut executives say they will continue to ensure they are delivering food that customers can feel good about eating.
