Police: Missing Haskell 9-year-old could be living in homeless camp

HASKELL, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Police are searching for a missing 9-year-old from Haskell may be living at a homeless camp in Nevada with her mother.

Urijah Livingston was visiting her mother, Desiree Ward, who does not have custody, and didn’t return to her custodial parent as ordered on July 22. 

A press release states investigators learned Urijah, “may be with her mother living at a homeless camp along the river in Sparks [Nevada].

There is also, “concern for the child’s welfare and well-being in her mother’s care and the conditions she has been exposed to,” according to the press release.

Anyone who knows where Urijah or Desiree can be located is asked to contact the Sparks Police Department at (775) 353-2231.
