ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Police are investigating after a resident reported he was held at gunpoint by a clown at his home in the Wylie area town early Wednesday morning.

A police report says the victim was taking his dog outside to use the restroom at a home on the 7900 block of White Blvd when he noticed a clown standing in the yard around 4:30 a.m.

When the victim asked the clown what he was doing, “a second clown came around the corner holding an AR type rifle,” then pointed the rifle at the victim, according to the report.

The report then states “after a hair-raising stare-down, the victim retreated into his residence to get a bigger dog.”

The report claims the clowns then got into a car and fled the scene. This incident is being investigated as Deadly Conduct.
