HAWLEY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Hawley High School coach who went viral for his response rap to a YouTube star has dropped another barrage of rhymes, this time for a video contest.

Matt Preston, a teacher and coach at Hawley High School went viral in May of this year after posting a response video to YouTube star Jake Paul’s rap video ‘My Teachers’, which bashed school teachers. In Preston’s video, he responded with a rap of his own defending his fellow instructors.

Preston now hopes his lyrics and flow will be just as strong to win a video contest with a new song titled ‘Dreamer’. The contest would gift Preston a $2,000 microphone and a trip to a music festival in Atlanta, Georgia if he wins.
