Sweetwater dog stung by swarm of bees dies

SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A dog that was stung by a swarm of bees in Sweetwater has died.

The dog was stung by more than 30 bees earlier this week and was still recovering at the veterinarian’s office.

The dog’s owners said in a social media post that the dog was suffering more and more after sustaining the bee stings, and nothing more could be done to save it.

Nolan County residents have reported numerous bee sightings in the area, including multiple dogs being stung by swarms.
