SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A Sweetwater veterinarian is warning of an uptick in bee attacks.

East Ridge Veterinary Hospital says they’ve seen two bee attack patients in the past 24 hours and have heard of a third that resulted in the death of a dog.

The cases they’ve treated originated in the northeast part of town.

A social media post states, “be careful for yourself and your children and pets. Bee attacks happen suddenly and are painful and potentially deadly.”

KTAB and KRBC are working to get more information on the bees. Stick with BigCountryHomepage for the latest.
