ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Noah Project, Inc. has been busy searching for their new Executive Director. Now, they are pleased to announce they have filled the position.

Dan Cox has been named by the Board of Directors of the Noah Project as their new Executive Director.

Cox served as interim director after the departure of former Executive Director Leigh Ann Fry in July.

Cox was formerly the Development Director for the organization, raising money through private donations, fundraising, grants and increasing their endowment.

Cox now serves as the Noah Project’s 5th Executive Director. He plans to carry on the 38-year legacy of providing services in the 10 surrounding counties to individuals impacted by family violence and sexual assault.

Dan Cox says, “I’m excited for Noah Project to take our mission to the next level. My goal is to encourage both women and men to seek our assistance when they are victims of domestic violence or sexual assault, and for all of us to say, ‘Not on my watch!'”

Kayla Christianson, current Board Chair, explained that Noah Project “will be in good hands with Dan at the helm. He and the leadership team will continue guiding Noah Project in providing excellent service to those affected by family violence.”
