DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - U.S. Senator Ted Cruz spoke at Dyess Air Force Base Thursday as a part of his tour of military bases across the country.
The specific focus of Senator Cruz's visit to Dyess was the B-21 bomber and its future at the air base. Cruz also spoke on the efforts to rebuild the U.S. military.
"Just this year, we passed the biggest rebuilding of our defense since the Reagan administration, and that was sorely needed." Cruz said.
While taking questions, Cruz also addressed topics about his campaign for reelection against U.S. Congressman Beto O'Rourke.
After speaking at Dyess, Cruz traveled to Brownwood for a meet-and-greet event.
