ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - The West Texas Rehabilitiation Center's Hospice of the Big Country will host a presentation that will bring awareness to suicide in the Big Country.
The presentation is called "The Suicide Epidemic: Awareness & Intervention".
It will take place Thursday, February 21 at 7 p.m., at the West Texas Rehabilitation Center Board Room located at 4601 Hartford St.
The presenter, Nick Watts, has a son named Jordan who suffered from depression amd died by suicide, in May of 2013.
This presentation will have insights learned from mental health professionals and more than 30 years of full-time, vocational ministry working with teens and their parents.
