ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The West Texas Rehab Center (WTRC) unveiled some new technology Wednesday to help its patients.
At an open house, rehab staff demonstrated the zero gravity and balance system along with the dynavision therapy trainer.
The equipment is used to help patients with balance and other cognitive functions.
“The good thing about it is that it will help so many people. And this isn’t a piece of equipment that allows us to build, it isn’t a piece of equipment that we get paid for having, it’s a piece of equipment that we have just for the purpose of helping our patients,” says Scott Jameson, Vice President of Operations for WTRC.
