Sweetwater Superintendent to Retire at End of Year

SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Sweetwater ISD Superintendent Terry Pittman is retiring after serving the with the district for 25 years.

Pittman has been the Superintendent of Sweetwater ISD for the past ten years, and the district is currently searching for his replacement. He’s set to retire at the end of the 2016/2017 school year. 

A series of community involvement sessions are taking place Tuesday to give school officials and community members the chance to give input on what they expect from the next superintendent.

The public is invited to the sessions at noon and 7:00 p.m. They will take place in the SHS auditorium.
