ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A welding truck burst into flames while parked outside a south Abilene business Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the fire on the 300 block of Bacacita Farms Road around 1:15 p.m.
The truck was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene, but everyone involved in the incident was able to escape without injury.
The driver of the truck told KTAB and KRBC he thinks the fire started when a fuel canister tipped over and was ignited by the exhaust, but the official cause has not been determined.
