Abilene High’s Sifuentes signs NLI with Colorado State

Today was National Signing Day. High school football players across the national made their college choices official this morning and afternoon.

At Abilene High, offensive lineman Stevie Sifuentes led a trio of Eagles making their college decisions.

Sifuentes signed to walk on at Colorado State.

He was an anchor for the Abilene High offensive line in 2018.

Sifuentes is looking forward to continuing his playing career in the Mountain West Conference.

“It was a big opportunity, it’s been a dream to play D-1 football. At first, I didn’t know what I was going to do, and then Colorado State finally came through with their offer so I finally get to live out the dream of playing D-1 college football,” Stevie Sifuentes said.

“I just want to be known as a great leader and a great friend, and a great teammate. I’ve always tried my best to make everybody fit in, do the best I can and put the team in the best position to win games.”
