AHS writing a new story in 2018

The Abilene High Eagles at home for their one and only scrimmage of the year on Friday against Copperas Cove.

There are still some positions up for grabs for the Eagles, and head coach Del Van Cox can’t wait to see his team take on another opponent.

Cox said, “We’ve still got a couple of questions left to answer, one being at quarterback, we’ll try to get that question solid up and answered on Friday. Man I’m excited about being able to hit somebody else. Our guys have had a good spring going against each other, but it’s time to get pads popping and hit somebody else.”

JD Duggar said, “We all kind of have a bad taste in our mouth from last year. We’re just ready to go out Friday and make our own story.”

The Eagles and Copperas Cove get started Friday morning at 11 am at Shotwell Stadium.
