The Coleman Bluecats are back on the field for their 2018 campaign.

Coleman saw only three wins in their tough 2017 season that was riddled with injuries.

This year, the Bluecats are back in business.

They’re looking to erase the past and start fresh, and that all begins in the first couple of days of two-a-days.

Head Coach John Elder said, “It’s always exciting to get back to football camp and have the kids show up excited to play and work for positions and get the season going, it’s just kind of the feeling in the air and the community is excited and the coaching staff so it’s always a fun time for us.”

John Deramus said, “We just want to get bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, and prepare ourselves the best we can for our football season and win some football games.”

Kaden Castleberry said, “It’s very exciting to get back out on the field, we’ve been waiting all summer and working out all summer for it. We’re ecstatic to get the season started, everyone’s just been waiting for it.”

The Bluecats have a big first game of the season when they head up to Jim Ned to take on the Indians in week one.
