The Cooper Cougars got back on the field this afternoon at Shotwell Stadium after their morning work out was washed out by rain.
New head coach Aaron Roan led his players through their paces for the first time as the head coach.
It’s been a crazy couple of months for Roan. He went from defensive coordinator to head coach, and he’s excited to get his team on the field.
Coach Roan said, “We’re just ready to get back on the field, our guys are ready, our coaching staff is ready, it’s an exciting time when Fall is here and balls in the air you can say it’s an exciting time to get back to work and get on the field and get to what we enjoy.”
The Cougars enter the 2018 season with an 11-year playoff streak. They want to make it 12 straight this year.
