Cooper’s Ricardo Rios signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at Cisco College.
Rios was part of an offensive line that helped pave the way for over 2100 yards rushing in 2018.
Today’s signing day means more to Rios than playing college football.
“It makes me feel good that I’m continuing my education, something nobody in my family has ever done,” Ricardo Rios said.
“They’re proud, it feels like I’ve accomplished a lot and it sets an example for my family. I’m happy, I’m just happy to go somewhere and do something with my life, to continue my education and just be a better man. It feels great to continue because I’ve been playing this game since I was little.”
Rios joins a team at Cisco that was 5-4 in 2018 and gained over 400 yards per game.
