Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett said he spent his off day on Monday visiting with former Dodger great Manager Tommy Lasorda and current Dodger great Pitcher Clayton Kershaw.
Babe Laufenberg asked the players how they spent their off day.
Joe Looney said, “I did absolutely nothing, and it felt great. I ate what I wanted to eat, and man, it felt great, you know, just hanging out, not doing anything, relaxing, talking to the kiddos, so you know, it was wonderful. Toppers Pizza out here, phenomenal.”
Taco Charlton said, “My agenda was get on the little bicycle in the weight room. We got little TVs now, and you can watch the little girls ride the bicycle with you so I just did that.”
Seven-year veteran Fullback Jamize Olawale takes a different approach.
Olawale said, “Everybody’s different you know, so you need to know what you need to work on and if it’s something you need to go work on, go work on it, but for me, I knew that I needed to rest. I needed to get off my feet.”
