Dallas Cowboys training camp continues over in Oxnard, California.

The question, “Who are the leaders?” is a question that’s being asked a lot this year at Cowboys camp.

No Romo, no Witten, that means somebody has to step up, and most folks are expecting that somebody to be quarterback Dak Prescott.

He says that’s what expected from his position, and Jason Garrett says it seems natural for Dak to lead.

Dak Prescott said, “I think I’ve always been a leader, so it’s about finding new ways to lead.”

Jason Garrett said, “He’s one of the most natural leaders I’ve ever been around. He has an amazing way of setting the right example for how to do things.”

Prescott added, “It’s just about finding new ways that I can lead. New ways to come into contact with my teammates, motivate them, or do whatever I have to do to get the best out of them.”

Garrett said, “He just has an amazing way of connecting and ultimately getting guys to play for him. It’s a big part of your job when your job when you are a quarterback. You have to embrace that mantle, and he’s certainly done that.”

The Cowboys are really counting on Prescott this year because his receivers are almost all new.

However, he’s got Ezekiel Elliott for the entire season this year, so that should help.
