The FCA All-Star Festival finishes up on Saturday, and Peyton Killam is honored to represent Abilene High.
Peyton Killam said, “It’s definitely an honor. I’m excited I got picked to do this and I’m excited to meet new people and I’m excited to play, so I’m looking forward to it.
Yeah exactly, it’s a big thing down here, it’s a big thing to be apart of and once again, like I said, I’m excited and I can’t wait.
It’s probably going to be a little different, but it’s going to be fun either way. Like I said, a chance to meet new guys, that I’m playing with at Hardin Simmons too, that are going to be on my team, so it should be fun.
Friendships I’ve built with my teammates, my coaches, the teachers that I had were great, I love them to death, so yeah I’m going to miss all that. Sports was definitely up there to miss, but I’m going to miss everything about it.
It’s just a chance to get to represent Christ in a good way, in a sporty way, and that’s what it’s all about, everyone is going to come together and praise the Lord.”
