Cowboys say goodbye to Jaylon Smith

FRISCO, TX (Silver Star Nation) – The Dallas Cowboys said goodbye on Wednesday to veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith.

Smith, who was a second-round draft pick in 2016, was released by the team four games into the 2021 NFL season.

The move, which surprised many, is aimed at making the overall defense stronger according to Head Coach Mike McCarthy.
