Stamford falls in region semifinals 63-29


The Stamford Bulldogs great run in the postseason comes to an end at the hands of Panhandle in Lubbock on Saturday afternoon.

Panhandle jumped ahead to a 7-0 lead, but Stamford answered to tie it up at 7. 

The two teams quickly moved on to tying it up at 14, but that’s when Panhandle started to run away, moving to 34-14 in the second.

The Panthers led the Bulldogs 48-21 at the half, but they weren’t done finding their way into the end zone.

Panhandle would score three more times in the second half, eventually taking down Stamford 63-29.

Stamford ends their season with a 10-3 record.
